Full Circle

2011 was full of fractures and repairs. We lost the house; we rebuilt it. Jason lost his job; he got another one. We lost our cat; we rescued a stray.

Last February, our two Boston Terriers either escaped from our back yard or were taken. Despite all our efforts, they have never been recovered. When we moved, I kept thinking about how much they would love the new yard, and how much Vader would have enjoyed swimming in the pool. The loss of the dogs was an unhealed fracture.

Last week, I was approached about taking custody of a 6-year-old Boston Terrier. We have dogsat this pup on more than one occasion, and the kids already love her. I agreed without hesitation, and she was delivered on Sunday.

Internet, meet Chi Chi:

Chi Chi enjoys doing WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING RIGHT NOW, THAT IS HER FAVORITE THING EVER.

We are so grateful to be able to give her a good home. I think she’s pretty psyched to be here:

We love you too, puppy.
